Sitting on the chairs that train station provided, waiting for the one to come. Minutes and seconds flies. Looking at your shadow on the floor, my head is too heavy by the weight of the thoughts; the chances of you looking at me, my reactions, your reactions.
Another minute passed, the train had arrived. Your shadow started to leave my sight, I slowly got up. We entered different doors. Our eyes never met, we may never meet.
The next day, same; me, sitting; you standing…Neither of us know how near we are.
Another day passed…a month slipped…then one follows another.
I see you every day, yet you notice it. Finally, I gathered all my courage to raise my head. I saw you clearly, the hair under that hat; the shirt you’re wearing; the bag and ipod that you’re holding.
I stood up, walked a few steps, until I am beside you.
We may be parallel, but at least we meet by standing together. Although the eyes are never met, the thought was never made. If one of us decides to make the move first, it’s another equation.
That day, you peeked at me; I peeked back.
We entered the same door.
Set together.
Stared at the window in front of us.
The night sky was pitching black. Windows of light was shinning on buildings. Amazingly beautiful city view presented on that single window. That single window we stared.
No words were said; no emotions were felt. That simple moment, was locked in my heart.
As the view fades in and out through the tunnels; I printed every facial expression of him that was reflected during the lost of the city, in my head.
I am happy.
